How it works

Every couple is different, but the sequence below is how most files move from first email to certificate in hand.

1. 1

   Intro call

   We hear your story, nationalities, and deadlines. You leave with a realistic sense of whether Denmark fits and what we would need next.

2. 2

   Checklist & gathering

   You receive a tailored list of documents, translations, and legalisations. We review scans so you do not submit surprises to the municipality.

3. 3

   Municipality review

   When the file is complete, it goes to the authority you marry under. We help you interpret responses and adjust if they ask for more.

4. 4

   Ceremony planning

   Once approved, you book your date. We brief you on what to bring, how early to arrive, and what the civil ceremony typically feels like.

5. 5

   After the vows

   You receive guidance on apostille, translations for use abroad, and safe handling of originals—so the marriage works for banks, visas, and life admin.
